The NGO's financing the start of all this must be shut down. If you threaten or harm human beings or damage property, you must be arrested. If you are illegal, you get deported. It's FAFO time.

Waving Mexican flags, surrounding ICE buildings, throwing rocks at police cars is giving a loud middle finger to America and Americans. I am done tolerating the lack of understanding of what it takes to live here. If the powers that be don't act now, we may never be able to return to a normal America.

It doesn't matter what happens to the peasants. Their sacrifice is for "the greater good," you know.

I'm Catholic, too, and have given money to Catholic Charities in the past, usually when there's an emergency situation in some desperately poor country. Are they given to subsidizing illegal immigrants?

Also, BTW: The Judge in Milwaukee that assisted an illegal in trying to avoid arrest by ICE was the past leader of CC in WI.

CC does some very good work, but they have also played a significant part in encouraging and facilitating illegal immigration. Not positive about the exact numbers but according to Crisis magazine.com "According to Forbes, in 2022 Catholic Charities USA was the 13th-largest U.S. charity. Of $4.7 billion in total revenues, Catholic Charities received $1.4 billion from government support. " Much of this was to support this ongoing and most recent invasion of our country.

My understanding is that CC also funds services for these illegals outside of the US, notably in MX where they have an extensive network of facilitators and support, including instructions on how to evade ICE and make unjustified claims for asylum.

So the Big Beautiful Bill contains a 5% tax on remittances out of the country. Seems that billions and billions flow to Mexico annually and Madame President called for action against it. The last call on June 4. Coincidence?

I think he should make an announcement remittances will go up by 1% each time he needs to back-up a police department. They are furious about the Remittances, even though THEIR president taxes it coming into Mexico.

Born in Ventura County in 1952, sold my tiny house in Hawthorne and left CA as LA was burning during the Rodney Kind riots. Wrote a paper in junior college during the bracero era that basically said, if you allow the illegals to stay and they become citizens, who in their right mind thinks they will vote to send their illegal friends and family home? Went back for my 40th high school reunion in 2010 and saw the Ventura County beaches and parks overwhelmed with Hispanics, both legal and illegal, and had to escape when told honkies weren't welcome. You are right when you say the numbers of illegals reported are grossly understated. SoCal? Best weather in the world. But I fear the invasion has been a success, and nothing will change, especially given the progressive political climate that cares nada about the financial mess the state and nation are in. I'll never go back.

Peachy sounds pissed off, and rightfully so. I am in LA County and far from the apocalypse that is LA City. The current riots were predictable and just in time for summer, which is riot season in California. My best guess is 90% of the rioters (the news is laughably calling them protestors) don’t give two shits about illegal aliens being rounded up by ICE. Most of these people see a mob and want to join it because inside the mob they can release their pent-up anger, destroy things, commit crimes, and get away with it. It’s cathartic, and thrilling. The other 10% are hardcore anarchists and subversives and nihilists who want to destroy society for the sake of destruction. No plan to rebuild a new society, just complete destruction. Witness the destruction and burning of the five Waymo vehicles for no reason, the endless spray painted profanities and slogans on walls, streets, every surface. Peachy is right: these anarchists want to kill cops. The only reason the anarchists aren’t using firearms is because they know they will die if they open fire with a weapon and they are too cowardly to die for their cause.

Los Angeles is gone. It’s a toilet. Let Karen Bass and the other commies on the City Council have it. Embrace and amplify. Like PIL once sang, “This is what you want, this is what you get.”

I wrote TV, Film, theatre in LA for 7 LONG years. I'm Latino ( no one uses the term Latin X except White Liberals) It got worse and worse every year re: homeless and number of immigrants. I left for the Red State of Fla mid-pandemic - where all of LA ( not just under all the highways) was looking like CALCUTTA ( 200 homeless tents on Beverly Drive?)

NONE OF THIS - is about - ahem - seeking "better opportunities" - not since 2020. There was a promise made to 35 million illegals ( about 25 mil of them military-trained): COME TO THE U.S. - we'll FUND your trip, provide you housing, pay for health care. You will NEVER HAVE TO RETURN. (90% of the invaders were SINGLE MALES)

The price? When we (Democrat Marxists) say the word - you must be willing to fight Americans, and destroy any city we've put you in - do WHATEVER YOU WANT - to whomever you want - we will turn a blind eye. We need you, now, for the NEW WORLD ORDER. (Funny thing is - they'll all be destroyed first thing - once the government is completely Democrat supermajority in all areas).

This is all orchestrated by the CCP, Venezuela, the DNC - with Soros and Clinton the tip of the spear, the UN, and Israel - thru NGOs - with the military violence to come all orchestrated and coordinated by the IDF.

We are about to see 200 cities in flames in the U.S...unless Trump arrests Newsom, Bass for treason - and 100,000 alien combatant foot soldiers in LA.

What most people don't realize is that the influx of people created higher prices and lower wages. Rents (housing) rates went up in urban areas where the illegals were flown into. This created housing shortages. They drove down the labor rates in the construction trades. This put pressure on families who are citizens. If 10,000 illegals were pulled out of the carpentry trade in New York wages would go up 5-10 dollars per hour. How do I know this? I own a company that employs 250 carpenters. Why cant we give our younger adults a chance to start their own small business. Why isn't there landscaping trucks with Smith Landscaping? Why does it have to be Sanchez Landscaping. My thought is this: Ge trim of every illegal immigrant. The one s that are loved will be hidden from view by their friends. I know three or four that I would put in my house until success is achieved. I just dont feel guilty anymore about this.

I live in Brooklyn and there’s new buildings going up everywhere. Every single worker is Hispanic, and I’m sure most are illegal. Construction used to be a great union work for Americans. SUVs pull up, and Hispanic women pull coolers out and sell the guys lunch. Probably paying off their cartel debts, and no money spent in the neighborhood, of course.

One day ICE will pull up to one of those residential towers. They will empty it. The contractors will have to pay a premium for manpower. That's when the tide will turn. Believe me, there are labor brokers who charge contractors by the hour. They have 2-300 employees. I would make a bet they dont get paid overtime and the state and federal governments dont get their taxes. It's just crazy. Ninety percent of Williamsburg was built with Spanish, Go to your local bagel shop. Everyone there is Spanish working for cash , no withholding taxes, no overtime.

I’m getting the feeling that, as a nation, we may have made a big, profound, mistake - or rather a series of them. People who should have known better let this happen, but we all share responsibility. We dropped our guard; we were too tolerant; we chose the wrong leaders; we let parties have their way; we ignored life-lessons.

And now we’ve put ourselves (with the insidious help of forces we neither understand or even know) in a very difficult position. Moreover, to make matters worse, we have no idea now true, representative, or significant, anything we hear or see on media really is.
